This week has been a total whirlwind! I finally graduated from uni with a degree in Fashion Business, I'm over the moon! Lots of hard work, sleepless nights, sacrifices & stress was completely worth it in the end. So between graduating & a busy time at work I've not had much chance to catch a breath & write my blog. This kind of relaxed Summer look is what I wore on my trip to Glasgow in search of a Graduation dress, a much more challenging task that I anticipated - try finding a neutral, simple dark dress in the middle of the Summer & during the sales - nightmare to say the least! Nevertheless, I managed to find a little beauty that I'll post during the week but I felt totally comfortable in this little combo throughout my shopping trip. 

The pleated front trousers from Zara are literally like wearing a pair of PJ bottoms but with a little more sophistication! They're cut beautifully & fit like a dream. I really like the look of linen trouser in the Summer months but really can't handle how awful it looks when it crushes so these serve as a great alternative. I also really like that all fastenings are concealed meaning I can accessorise in either gold or silver, they're already proving to be a very versatile item in this Summer's wardrobe as this is their second outing! 

I love this daisy lace top from H&M. Daisies just ooze Summer and let's be honest, when can you ever go wrong with a little floral touch? The nude/blush colour of this is great too for is versatility & I think it would be nice on holiday during the day too as you can reveal you bikini underneath to if you like to experiment with layering. 

I hope you like this simple look. I'm sorry that you can't see the shoes in the pictures, I find it difficult to get a full shot when I'm taking my own photos. Today I thought I'd blog my first proper outfit post, which is pretty exciting but also nerve racking since I don't know how my style will be perceived. I hope I don't become victim to a Mean Girls-esque grilling as I've never really claimed to be some sort of trend setting fashionista despite having studied Fashion I'd say more recently I verge on the side of 'normal' when it comes to styling & trends.

As we all know pastels are popping everywhere at the moment which I totally adore & embrace every Spring/Summer. The part I love most about these ice cream colours besides the fact that they look delicious is that they can pretty much be worn all at once, in fact, I'd say they look better altogether! 

So last night I was heading out to dinner with my side of the family to a little place in Jordanhill called The Sisters. Every Christmas we do a Secret Santa where we have to buy for a couple, we set a £100 budget & a £40 gift voucher for this restaurant as it's our family favourite. It's lovely because we all get together & have a great night, plus it's always close to my Aunt's birthday so we celebrate too! Any excuse would have done me fine so long as I got the chance to have their legendary Peanut Butter Cheesecake!

Anyway, I'll remove the drool & talk about my little outfit choice! 

I love going out on a Saturday because it's an excuse to dress up a little no matter where you're going! I chose to dawn my favourite pastel colour pink with nude details & different textures. 

This sweet curly fur cardigan caught my interest a week ago when I was shopping around for some work clothes & since it was payday on Friday -hurraaaay! I seen no reason as to why I shouldn't give it a loving home. Desperate to wear it but having a mini debate in my head whether I actually should, I decided that my clumsiness (nothing to do with the wine by the way) would not be an issue & made myself a pinky promise that I would be extra careful, which thankfully I was. Alas, no longer will I hear the jokes of the scoop bib, mini achievement!

I fell in love with these Louboutin inspired nude spike heels from Matalan just before Christmas & when they went on sale for £15 they were a total must! I was seriously impressed with Mata for this tremendous effort, sometimes they really do pleasantly surprise me! Although they're sold out I managed to spot a pair from an eBay store as I've linked, they're UK based too which is a plus! I adore a nude heel especially as they go with everything & as we make this awkward transition between seasons they're perfect for any occasion. 

Can we just take a moment to look at how amaaazing this necklace is from Primark? as we all know i'm literally the biggest fan of Primark's jewels, I love how affordable they are & that there's tonnes! I will admit in advance that I do intend on making them my sole excuse as to why i'll be over my baggage allowance at the airport this year. Gorgeous!

all white everything || the look for less than £100

Hello! So recently I have been the Queen of 'matchy-matchy' & I'm in LOVE ❤ with the white on white combinations I've been seeing everywhere! It's so clean, sharp & sophisticated but definitely not for the faint hearted (or the clumsy.. 'lunch on white on white' is totally not the look we're going for here!) 

My favourite things about this look:-

❤ it suits everyone! It can be worked to all shapes & personal styles.

❤ most of us already have a little white shirt or blouse tucked away in the wardrobe.

❤ the pieces you purchase will last a lifetime if you choose them carefully!

❤ it looks so well thought out! 

Kim Kardashian is the ultimate in this look - she has perfected it! A mix between soft cuts and sharp tailoring is essential. She looks completely flawless. *stares in complete awe*

I set myself a challenge to find a gorgeous little white-on-white combo for less than £100. Yes, that's head to toe including accessories. Mission accepted! (this was majorly ambitious)

I've completely fallen in love with this collarless blazer from New Look. This is a total must-have investment for any wardrobe & it's a steal at that price! It's new so I'd grab it before it goes... this is why I adore having a student card.

These beaaautiful platforms from Missguided are absolutely genuis, you can't tell from the picture but they have a gorgeous perspex toe detail - very Gianvito Rossi without the bank breaking (more like heart breaking) price tag!

I've become a major fan of a shift dress recently, especially since like most of us i'm still trying to beat the January muffin top! (okay I know it's February now...) I couldn't believe when I found this little gem on boohoo for 20 quid! They always pleasantly surprise me when I checkout! 

My chosen accessories are from a little eBay store set in the UK called Bag'Mama which I happened to stumble across one day when searching for little haberdashery bits & bobs. It's a fantastic discovery!! They offer free delivery & their products are super cheap - big thumbs up!
