MAC MADE IN HEAVEN

I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend!

Like most of us, I struggle to keep my face in check all day without having to contend with shiny skin (not a dewy glow!) especially working in an office for hours each day with complexion deteriorating air conditioning!

I needed something to set my make-up but also act as a good coverage on it's own for when our summer weather returns - if our summer weather returns - and I decide to brave it foundation-free.

I opted for MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish pressed powder in shade 'Medium Plus' which is perfect worn independently or teamed with my foundation for a fixed look. Since I have extremely temperamental combination skin, this product is perfect as the enriched minerals help to balance oils without stripping dry area. In terms of longevity, I apply the product once in the morning & never feel the need to top up which is great because it saves time & cash too!

In serious need of a new powder brush, I spotted this Real Techniques large powder brush while I was doing my weekly shopping! I love how soft it is but what impressed me even more so was that it doesn't cast! I don't know how many expensive brushes I've used where I look like I've sprouted a beard by the end of the application so I was so pleased with the result!

It's safe to say these two are firm favourites in my make-up bag!
