Hello!

I've been looking forward to writing this post but I've had a bit of trouble with my pictures but alas! Here it goes...

A couple of weekends ago I had a meet up tea & cake affair with my Glasgow blogging lovelies in Snuggle Muffin, a wee cake tearoom on George Street. The girls & I had a lovely time, we were spoiled for choice between all of the handcrafted cupcakes & homemade scones with jam & fresh cream & brownies & tea & yum, yum, yum... *lost in a cake-filled daydream...* Annnnnyway, it would only make sense to go dressed in my fav cupcake colours and since I had to head straight out afterwards I took the opportunity to dress-up for high tea - I even sported my ruffled lilac umbrella/parasol (which by the way I ended up using for both rain & shine lol!)

I had a little bit of a Primark haul after work on Friday & to say I was pleased with this dress purchase would be a major understatement. This wave-textured dress was my bargain of the year so far at just £10! I couldn't believe what a gem I'd found! It's sooo comfortable, stretchy in material which made it even more suitable for the indulgent afternoon I was planning on having! I've teamed this with a flat collar necklace that has both the colour of the dress and the clutch bag merged together which pretty much tied the look together. I've been so impressed with the range of clutch bags available in Primark recently, as you will have seen in my overnight stay in Manchester post I've started a mini collection of them! They could easily pass for something that the likes of Zara or even H&M would produce. The blush pink colour is a favourite of mine just now, I'm feeling I could go really matchy-matchy with the shift dress I wore on Easter Monday.

Crochet is all around just now & I'm loving it. It's so summery!! Desperately in need of some Summer wedges I spotted these in New Look - they were a MUST. I love the cut out details plus they're super supportive so I can literally run in them (actually did for the train...)

Now for my new baby, the new H&M trench. Living in Glasgow, the summer is never really a Summer. So although I'll be out there with my shorts & dresses on, realistically we need a little light summer coat to go to & from. Could this one be any more perfect? I think not! I'd been looking at the one they'd brought out at the start of the season, but when I seen this I grabbed my size & headed for the till. However, my heart did sink when I seen it included in the mid season sale with £15 off *sob* but nevertheless I hope that someone picks up the bargain!

I had such a lovely afternoon with the girls. Since I've started blogging it amazes me just how nice everyone is. It's one of my favourite things about being part of the blogging network, thanks for such great company!

For anyone who hasn't been to Snuggle Muffin I'd recommend their beautiful cakes - they're delicious!

VINTAGE FLORALS

Floral

Pastel Clutch

Floral Print Purse Clutch || Matalan £15

Hello

I think that we can safely say that a post is well overdue!

As you may or may not know, I started a new job & I've found it super difficult to balance work, family life, social life & everything else in between. I've finally settled into a routine & I'm going to put time aside on Sundays to catch up with the weeks purchases + finds.

And what a better way to come back to blogging normality than to show off this little baby! How cute can one clutch bag get?

I'm obsessed with this vintage floral print bag from Matalan which I honestly think could pass as a wee Topshop number! With my ice-cream coloured wardrobe shaping up nicely in prep for some summer weather (which doesn't look likely anytime soon ...) this is totally perfect for any outfit.

I like that I can take it from day - evening with the detachable gold chain strap & at £15 how could I have said no?

I hope you're all well!

OUTFIT || MINT ❤

Outfit of the day

| Jumpsuit: Wal G, Topshop £36 | White Blazer: Primark £19 | Suede Cut-Out Wedge in Nude: eBay £14.99 | Clutch Bag in Ecru: Primark £6 | Statement Pastel Necklace: Primark £6 |

Happy Friday!!

I hope everyone is well & looking forward to whatever the weekend has in store! I'm totally confused about which day I'm on, for those of you who follow me on Twitter you'll know I've been away the past couple of days in Manchester seeing the extremely handsome Mr. Michael BublĂ©!  * I instantly turn into the heart eyed emoji* I went with Fraser's family for his Mum & Dads 50th birthday. I keep going to say 'what a brilliant weekend we had!' But it was during the week, hence my confusion. So as much as I didn't have the Friday Feeling, I wasn't about to pass up the free weekend! I'm half expecting to wake up tomorrow thinking it's Tuesday.. aaaanyway, that was just a little insight into my crazy head!

I always find a concert, gig, music event whateveeeer you wanna call it really difficult to dress for. Because it's never just the gig, oh no! There's dinner before & per-drinks, then there is the drinks afterwards & potentially a late night bar or club or both, ahhhhh! It's a tricky one! Because we were away from Glasgow we fancied getting dressed up a little, particularly the fact we were celebrating the rents 50th birthdays!

In a last minute panic the night before the morning we left (and an hour before the shops closed) I decided to have a complete outfit meltdown & head to the shops on a mission to find a complete outfit that was going to fit the majorly specific brief without making my bank card cry at 'payment approved'. Not like me to be soooo late, or last minute or anything to that effect... *ahem*

With wasted time in a few shops & feeling like a quick change artist, I had 20mins left to find something, anything! I went into Topshop & found this gorgeous mint jumpsuit from Wal G.  I find the crepe fabric always looks expensive! Since I'm adoring pastels as you may have gathered from my recent posts this was perfect! Plus I had a good feeling that my big statement from my last outfit post (Here) would be a perfect colour match for this!

Feeling optimistic, I ran to Primark (literally, I ran) because I remembered getting very distracted by the most perfect white Blazer. It reminded me of the collarless one from my White on White post from last month (Here) but better, it's textured on the bodice giving it a more expensive feel. It's a new favourite! I can definitely see me popping it over a little top & jeans for a 'ladies who lunch' kind of affair (our cakes date perhaps my bloggers?)  i also spotted this gorgeous little clutch in Ecru, perfect match for my practical shoe choice of cut out wedges, I actually demonstrated my running skills in these too.. I BLAME THE WINE!
